Organization Is Everything

As we increasingly move towards a world in which infinite amounts of content can be easily stored and the devices in which data is stored become more compact, organizational skills become increasingly important.

Our personal and business lives fail or succeed to a large extent on our ability to successfully access data or information at a moments notice.

This is what has brought Google so much success.

This is what accountants help people do during tax season.

This is what has enabled the microchip to dominate the foreseeable future.

In the music business this singular skill has the ability to truly magnify your sphere of influence.

Managing your email list, important contacts, and calendar are all directly related to organizing information.

Managing your budget, time, and energy all boil down to organizational skills.

This being the case I suggest we all start consolidating all of those loose spiral notebooks, sheets of paper, binders, business cards and other bits of information most of us having lying around all over the place.

Early to bed, early to rise, organize, organize, organize. (Al Gore, An Inconvenient Truth)

Wishing you continued success!
